About the Role
We are an omnichannel retail business seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Fulfillment Warehouse Associate to support daily fulfillment operations during a team member's leave of absence. This role is a great fit for someone with hands-on experience in retail or e-commerce fulfillment — particularly handling fragile, delicate, and specialty products with care and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Order Fulfillment
- Pack and prepare customer orders for shipping, including fragile, delicate, and specialty items requiring careful handling
- Select appropriate materials and methods to ensure safe, accurate packaging for transit
- Pick orders and verify contents against packing slips or system prompts
- Follow on-screen directions for task-specific instructions
- Troubleshoot packing or order discrepancies as they arise
Inbound Receiving
- Assist with unloading and receiving incoming shipments
- Verify quantities and perform quality checks on inbound products
- Identify and document any discrepancies, damages, or shortages
Warehouse Operations
- Load, unload, and move products within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory records using basic computer/WMS systems
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a retail, e-commerce, or fulfillment warehouse environment is strongly preferred
- Proven ability to handle fragile, delicate, and specialty items with care and precision
- Familiarity with order picking, packing, and shipping processes
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is an asset
- Basic computer skills (data entry, inventory systems, email)
- Ability to perform basic math for order verification and inventory counts
- Physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the role, including standing for prolonged periods and lifting items safely when required.
- Works well independently and as part of a team
Additional Information
- 3-month fixed term contract covering a leave of absence
