Job Summary
Trillium is hiring experienced and professionally trained Residential Support Workers (CYW, DSW, CSW, SSW, Behavioural Sciences) to provide high-quality care and behavioural support to a home with male individuals with complex needs, including developmental disabilities and mental health.
This role is ideal for professionals seeking flexible hours, supplemental income, and opportunities to work in diverse support environments while maintaining best practices in care and behaviour management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to individual males with complex needs in treatment program
- Implement individualized support plans, behaviour support strategies
- Support with life skills, social skills, and activities of daily living
- Apply crisis management techniques when required
- Maintain accurate documentation and professional communication
- Build therapeutic, respectful relationships with individuals
- Work collaboratively with clinical teams and program staff
Available Shifts
- Day, afternoon, evening, and overnight shifts
- Shifts - 8 hours
Required Qualifications (Applicants Must Meet All Requirements)
- Diploma or Degree in CYW, DSW, CSW, SSW, Behavioural Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of direct experience supporting individuals with complex needs
- Experience with developmental disabilities, mental health, and behavioural support
- Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check (within 6 months)
- Valid CPR & First Aid certification
- Current Crisis Intervention certification (SMG)
