The Teahouse at Abkhazi Garden is looking for a Kitchen Expeditor to join our team!
We are a dynamic and dedicated team offering an elevated High Tea experience nestled in one of Victoria’s most beautiful and serene gardens.
This position is responsible for controlling the flow of food from the kitchen, prioritizing accurate heating times, quality control, and aesthetic plating. In addition to our regular dining service, this position also facilitates service to our higher volume cruise tour groups.
Expo shifts are typically 9:30 - 5:30 with additional shifts depending on cruise schedule. Weekend availability is required.
Job Requirements:
- Some previous food and beverage experience is preferred, however we are happy to train the right person if you have a willingness to learn
- Ability to follow recipes, checklists, and instructions
- Attention to detail and positive attitude is key
- Reliability and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
- The ability to legally work in Canada
Starting wage $20 / hr + tips (typically $60-$80 per shift depending on sales)
This is a seasonal position, and the ideal candidate is able to commit to regular shifts Monday - Thursday from late July through to the end of October.
Potential additional shifts available in December depending on availability.
