Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining insulation materials in various building projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, the ability to read blueprints, and proficiency with hand tools. The Insulator plays a vital part in ensuring energy efficiency and safety standards are met across all projects.
Responsibilities
- Install insulation materials such as fiberglass, foam, or mineral wool in walls, ceilings, and other building structures
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to ensure insulation is airtight and effective
- Operate hand tools including knives, saws, drills, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine insulation specifications and placement
- Assist with the preparation of work sites by measuring, cutting, and fitting insulation materials accurately
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within specifications
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or insulation installation is preferred
- Familiarity with caulking techniques and hand tools is advantageous
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings is a plus
- Experience working with various insulation materials is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to follow instructions are essential for success in this role

- Must be Journeyman Insulator
- CSTS 2020
- Fall Protection
- Asbestos experience or certification is considered an asset.
- Maintain positive relations with clients and coworkers through effective communication conflict management skills.

- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management and organization skills in order to meet various competing deadlines.

Pay: $27.00-$45.00 per hour
