Job Overview
We are seeking 2 skilled Garage Door Technicians to join our team in Grande Prairie for 2026. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining garage doors and related systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various tools and construction-related skills, ensuring safety and quality in every project. Candidates should be detail-oriented, physically capable, and eager to contribute to a growing company dedicated to customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial garage doors and openers.
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Perform construction tasks such as occasional door opening prep.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues.
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly dispose of debris.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of garage door mechanisms and openers is a plus
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license is required for travel between job sites
- Prior experience in overhead door industry or related trades
This position offers an opportunity to develop a diverse skill set within the construction and overhead door industry while working on varied projects.

Pay: $25.00-$60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
