We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities
- Deliver professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques
- Conduct client consultations to understand their health concerns and develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records of treatments provided
- Educate clients on self-care practices and wellness strategies to enhance treatment outcomes
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures
- Stay current with industry best practices and continuing education requirements
Requirements
- A minimum of 2,200 hours of educational training
- Valid massage therapy license or certification
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and client health conditions
- Expected to take initiative in promoting massage services to ensure customer inflow
- Excellent customer service skills to explain treatment procedures and address client questions or concerns
- Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions
