Location: Hamilton, ON or Nanticoke, ON (and surrounding areas)
Schedule: Monday through Friday (weekends as needed)
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Vacuum and High-Pressure Water Blasting Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work with industrial vacuum trucks and high-pressure water blasting units, performing cleaning operations in heavy industrial environments. A valid G Class driver’s license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working at the end of vacuum trucks and high-pressure water blasting equipment
- Perform cleaning of industrial facilities and equipment (hazardous and non-hazardous materials)
- Work both independently and as part of a team on various job sites
- Drive Class G vehicles to and from job sites
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment and materials
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Participate in Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA)
- Maintain site cleanliness and perform housekeeping tasks
Work Environment:
- Exposure to a variety of environmental conditions such as heat, cold, dust, dirt, mud, water, and noise
- Work may involve heights and confined spaces
- Outdoor and indoor job sites
Requirements:
- Valid G Class driver’s license
- Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, dirty, wet, etc.)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
- Safety-focused with the ability to follow procedures
- Previous experience with vacuum or water blasting equipment is an asset, but we are willing to train
