Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Mover/Truck Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting goods, assisting with moving operations, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and the ability to operate various equipment safely. Duties
- Safely operate company trucks for local or long-distance moves, ensuring timely deliveries
- Assist with loading and unloading items, including heavy furniture and equipment
- Use forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move large or bulky items when necessary
- Properly secure cargo to prevent damage during transit
- Communicate effectively with clients to coordinate pick-up and delivery times
- Maintain accurate documentation of shipments and delivery logs
- Ensure all moving activities comply with safety regulations and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in moving services or warehouse operations preferred
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Previous warehouse experience is advantageous
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
