Your Opportunity:
The Care Manager, together with the Area Manager is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of professional nursing staff, professional specialty staff and support staff on the Seniors North Home Care team and establishing and maintaining high standards of clinical practice. Expectations include supporting, coaching, and mentoring the staff to safely and effectively meet client needs. The Care Manager works collaboratively to create and sustain a healthy work environment, maintaining working relationships with all stakeholders; and facilitating the implementation of changes to structure and processes in order improved outcomes in client satisfaction, quality of care and cost containment.

Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching and teaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others. Proven ability to foster partnerships and to achieve organizational goals within an organization and ideally managing within a unionized sector. Strong track record in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective leadership abilities combined with a strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire other to achieve common goals. Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to foster a climate of cooperation amongst, and build solid relationships with public agencies, government, committees and other partners.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree; consideration will be given to equivalencies in education and experience. A minimum of 2 years in a health care provider role ideally in an organization of significant size, complexity and diversity. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
