We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen crew. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. This role is essential to maintaining the high standards of our restaurant, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and to perfection.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including pizza dough, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management.
- Collaborate with other kitchen crew to ensure timely meal service.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure quality.
- Help in the training of new kitchen crew as needed.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in a restaurant or food service environment.
