About Modern Renovations
Modern Renovations is a growing residential renovation and handyman company serving homeowners and property owners throughout the GTA. We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team and assist with a variety of residential repair, maintenance, and renovation projects.
We are hiring both experienced handymen and renovation helpers/labourers.
Responsibilities
Depending on your experience and skill level, duties may include:
- General residential repairs and maintenance
- Drywall installation, patching and repairs
- Interior painting and preparation
- Laminate, vinyl and other flooring installation
- Baseboard, trim and moulding installation
- Caulking and finishing work
- Minor carpentry and framing
- Door, hardware and fixture installation
- Demolition and removal of existing materials
- Moving and organizing construction materials
- Job-site preparation and cleanup
- Assisting with renovation projects
- Measuring, cutting and preparing materials
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Following instructions and completing work to a professional standard
QualificationsExperienced Handyman
- Previous experience in residential renovation, construction or handyman work
- Ability to complete common repair and renovation tasks independently
- Good knowledge of hand and power tools
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and find practical solutions
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable and professional when working in customers' homes
Renovation Helper
- Construction or renovation experience is an asset but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Physically capable of lifting and moving materials
- Comfortable using basic hand tools
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Must be comfortable working in different residential job sites throughout the GTA
