The person in this position assists with improving and supporting a wide range of individuals in a private consultation. You will provide advice concerning their eating habits, their lifestyle and, above all, their motivation. In partnership with our team, you will contribute in helping the client reach their goals and maintain long-term healthy eating habits.
Responsibilities:
- Providing a nutrition assessment, diet modification, nutrition education, and intervention for clients
- Develop, implement and evaluate nutritional plans for clients according to MPC guidelines
- Interact and collaborate with other medical professionals
- Educate clients and team members regarding nutrition and hydration information
- Contribute to MPC blog and continuing education library
Requirements:
- Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario
- Bachelor’s degree in nutrition
- 3-5 years experience is preferred
- Excellent organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety practices, principles and legislation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential
- Work effectively in a team-based work environment
