Fab-All Welding (Part of the Credence Construction Ltd. Group of Companies) is based out of Wilkie, SK and specializes in welding, fabrication, industrial mechanics, and other like trade related fields. We also offer retail services providing all the parts and supplies you need to undertake your fabrication and mechanical projects. We provide ongoing facility maintenance, shutdowns, small to mid-sized capital construction, as well as breakdown and emergency services to client facilities primarily in the agricultural and industrial mining industries.
We are currently looking for Lead Welders / Fabricators and / or Apprentice Welders / Fabricators with a strong welding & fabricating aptitude and / or experience in mechanical and similar fields. Willingness to learn and perform mechanical installations and repairs is a must. Travel is required as employees will provide services at client locations across the Prairie Provinces.
The wage for this position will range from $28 - $44 / hour and successful candidates will be hired under a Full-Time status following three (3) months probation or as the workload allows. We also provide benefits for full-time staff.
Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities / Competencies:
· Capable of following safe work practices and promoting safety in general
· Capable and proficient at using hand and power tools
· Capable of reading blueprints and construction drawings and following instructions and supplier specifications.
· Capable of completing welding / fabricating jobs and welding / fabricating related activities
· Valid CWB Certificates would be an asset
· Understanding of regular facility maintenance practices and processes would be an asset
· Capable of working in a team setting or alone
· Capable of mentoring new employees / apprentices
· Capable of communicating and cooperating with clients as necessary
· Capable of multi-tasking
· Must possess a strong work-ethic
· Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform mechanical work is a requirement
· PME experience and licensing would be an asset
· Capable of travel, working on the road, and being away for extended runs and shifts
· Capable of working in a variety of climactic conditions
