Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest accommodations, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing excellent service. Prior hotel experience and familiarity with laundry procedures are preferred but not required, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies in guest rooms
- Perform laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and laundry equipment are used safely and efficiently
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, carts, and workstations
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Previous hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for all duties
- Experience with laundry processes is desirable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking throughout shifts
- Must be reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
