Inked Energy is looking for a full time Project Manager to add to the team working mostly in the oil and gas industry while supporting in industrial and commercial scopes as well. This is a permanent role based in our Drayton Valley location.
The position is a leadership role, with hands on involvement, with our employees, customers, and regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities:
· Manage oil and gas construction projects from estimates to close out.
· Project management for site supervisors and crews.
· Review and manage project financials and productivities.
· Review requests for pricing from customers, understand the scopes, put together estimate based on productivities, review documents for risks, gather subcontractor pricing, compile package, present to manager for review, prepare for customer submission.
· Mentor, train and monitor performance of direct reports.
· Maintain project tracking spreadsheets and paperwork.
· Assist with manpower and equipment coordinating.
· Review estimates, current, and completed projects with Inked Energy team and customer representatives.
· Co-ordinate and contribute to internal safety and progress meetings.
· Weekly customer site visits to confirm project and people are meeting expectations.
Requirements:
· 5 yrs + of oil and gas construction experience
· 3 yrs + of project management experience
· Ability to multitask.
· Time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
· Strong skills with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Work, Excel, Project
· Strong safety culture
· Class 5 license
