OKN Renew Renovations is looking for an experienced renovation professional to join our team.
We're looking for someone who can confidently complete a wide variety of residential renovation tasks with minimal supervision. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work, solving problems as they arise, and producing quality craftsmanship that reflects the reputation of our company.
What you'll be doing:
- Demolition and site preparation
- General carpentry and framing
- Flooring installation (LVP, Laminate, Harwood, tile installation experience is considered an asset)
- Drywall repairs and painting (painting experience is considered an asset)
- Trim and finishing work
- General residential renovation tasks
- Working independently to complete assigned work efficiently and safely
- Collaborating with the rest of our team to deliver exceptional results for our clients
We're looking for someone who:
- Has a minimum of 5 years of residential renovation experience
- Can confidently work independently while also being a strong team player
- Can follow instructions and take direction well to complete assigned tasks safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- Has experience operating a variety of hand and power tools safely
- Is physically capable of lifting 50 lbs
- Has strong problem-solving skills and can adapt to the changing nature of renovation work
- Is dependable, punctual, organized, and arrives each day ready to work safely and professionally
- Takes pride in producing clean, high-quality workmanship
- Has a valid Class 5 driver's licence
Residential painting and finishing experience is considered a strong asset.
