Job Summary
The EndZone Bar & Grill is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House (FOH) Staff to join our team. As a vital part of our restaurant, you will deliver exceptional guest experiences through friendly service, efficient food and beverage handling, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills, food industry knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the hospitality industry while providing memorable dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring guest satisfaction
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen support as needed
- Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods
- Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Provide guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Previous food service or restaurant experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for cashiering and transaction management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in food handling, serving, or hospitality industry is advantageous
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining individual responsibilities
- Flexibility to work during peak hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
