Asphalt Sealing Technician
Job Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (Potential for Year-Round Employment)
Pay: $20–$35 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday with occasional weekends and overtime during peak season

Job Summary
We're looking for a hardworking, dependable, and detail-oriented Asphalt Sealing Technician to join our pavement maintenance team. This is a full-time seasonal position with opportunities for returning wage increases and year-round employment through our winter snow operations for the right candidate.
Your primary responsibility will be preparing asphalt surfaces for sealcoating, ensuring every project meets our high standards of quality and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Sweep and scrub asphalt surfaces using push brooms to remove dirt and loose debris.
- Operate backpack and walk-behind blowers to thoroughly clean driveways and parking lots.
- Tape and mask sidewalks, curbs, garage doors, concrete, landscaping, and other surrounding areas to create clean, professional edges during the sealing process.
- Repair asphalt cracks using approved crack-filling materials and equipment.
- Inspect surfaces to ensure they are clean and properly prepared before sealcoating begins.
- Assist with job site setup and cleanup.
- Work safely while following all company procedures and safety standards.
- Support the sealcoating crew to complete projects efficiently and deliver exceptional results for our customers.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing repetitive tasks including bending, kneeling, walking, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Experience in asphalt maintenance, construction, landscaping, or general labour is considered an asset but is not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
