Job Summary
We are seeking experienced movers to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in moving services, warehouse operations, and commercial driving. This role involves physically demanding tasks, excellent customer service, and effective communication skills to ensure smooth relocations and client satisfaction. Candidates with forklift experience and warehouse background are highly preferred. Responsibilities
- Safely load, unload, and transport household or commercial items during relocations
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and organizing items to ensure secure transportation
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients throughout the moving process
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the warehouse and on-site locations
- Use proper lifting techniques to handle heavy items safely
- Drive company vehicles, including commercial trucks, adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate moving schedules and logistics
Requirements
- Proven experience in moving services or warehouse operations
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not mandatory
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
- Prior experience with commercial driving is advantageous
- Reliable transportation to work sites and warehouse facilities
