CLAY Design, Construction & Cabinetry is an award-winning design-build company specializing in custom homes, renovations, heritage restorations, adaptive living solutions, and custom cabinetry. We believe exceptional projects start with exceptional people, and we're looking for a Junior Architectural Technologist to join our growing team.
What You'll Do
- Prepare permit, construction, and millwork drawings using Revit
- Assist with custom home and renovation design projects
- Coordinate drawings with clients, consultants, municipalities, and internal teams
- Conduct site visits, field measurements, and prepare as-built drawings
- Support site supervisors and trades with technical information
- Ensure drawings meet Ontario Building Code requirements and project specifications
- Participate in design meetings and collaborate with our design-build team
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of residential renovation or custom home experience
- Strong proficiency in Revit
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
- AutoCAD experience is considered an asset
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
