SKILLED LABOURER/CARPENTER
J&E Enterprises Limited, since its incorporation over 40 years ago, has been active in the heavy civil and coastal construction industry throughout the island of Newfoundland.
With projects on-going throughout the Avalon, we are increasing staffing levels to meet project requirements.
Please note: We are currently seeking applicants who are looking for a challenge and amenable to highly physically demanding work. Job sites are located along coastal infrastructure so work in inclement weather is to be expected, as well as work over water and at heights.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
· Heavy Timber Wharf Repairs (Sledgehammer, Wood drilling)
· Rough carpentry/formwork
· Concrete pouring
· Handling heavy loads
· Use of various hand and power tools
· Work around various types of heavy equipment
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/TASKS
· Reliability and takes ownership of their work
· Work around/over standing and moving water
· Working in a team environment
· Greasing and maintaining equipment
· Ability to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies and protocols
· Class 5 Drivers Licence
Lodgings provided as required. Transportation to/from work sites subsidized.
