VV Aquatics (VVA) is hiring a permanent, part-time Swim Coach who is mature, strong swim technique, experienced, motivated, and an enthusiastic team member.
Candidates must be experienced in a private lesson setting with strong attention-to-detail with skill-based lesson format.
Hiring x1 Swim Coach:
- Location: Best Western Chocolate Lake, Halifax, 250 St. Margaret’s Bay Road
- Set shift: 3:45pm-7pm (Mondays & Wednesdays). Please only apply if your schedule allows for this set-schedule.
Interviews: June 2026
Training: Summer 2026
Official Coaching Starting: Sep 9th 2026.
Candidates must have:
Life Saving Society Swim Instructor Certification; Life Saving Society First Aid; Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Check); Child Abuse Register Check; - CPR and First Aid certification.
Pay: $20/$25/hour.
VV Aquatics (VVA) offers Premium Life Saving Society Certified Private Swimming Lessons in Bedford - Halifax, Nova Scotia. We offer Summer outdoor intensives and Indoor evenings throughout the year.
Our VVA programming focuses on development of fundamental swim stroke mechanics and skills that is customized to each learning type. VVA lessons focus on building a genuine love and respect for the water while overcoming any fears associate.
