Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated ISA Certified Arborist or Ground Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in one of or both Aerial Lift (bucket truck / spider crawler) and ground operations. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality tree care services while maintaining professionalism on job sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform tree pruning, removals, and maintenance in accordance with ISA and ANSI A300 standards
- Conduct tree risk assessments (If TRAQ certified) and provide recommendations when required
- Operate and maintain arboricultural equipment (chainsaws, chippers, etc.)
- Perform aerial lift operations
- Assist with tree injections and plant health care treatments when required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites
- Communicate effectively with crew members and clients
- Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
Qualifications
- ISA Certified Arborist (Required for Arborist position)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Required for both positions)
- Minimum 3 years of arboriculture experience (Required for Arborist position)
- Strong knowledge of tree identification, pruning standards, and safe work practices
- Experience with aerial lift operations
- Physically fit and capable of performing demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Assets (Not Required but Beneficial)
- ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)
- Pesticide Applicator License (Alberta)
- Experience with Arborjet or similar injection systems
- Experience operating bucket trucks or spider lifts
- First Aid / CPR Certification
- Experience operating chainsaws/ chippers/ stump grinders
- Air Brakes Endorsement

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Camrose, AB T4V 2N1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- Arboriculture: 3 years (preferred)
Language:
Licence/Certification:
- CDL (required)
- ISA Certification (preferred)
