Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Seasonal Cook / Food Truck Cook to join our dynamic food service team. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers at the food truck window
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck kitchen area
- Ensure proper food handling and storage procedures are followed in compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food safety and sanitation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within a restaurant or mobile food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Strong skills in meal preparation and cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Kitchen experience or restaurant background is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team during busy hours
- Flexibility to work seasonal schedules, including weekends and peak times
