Location: Sherwood Park, Alberta

Welding & Fabrication
Perform high-quality welding using traditional processes (MIG, TIG, Stick as required)
Read and interpret drawings, weld procedures, and fabrication details
Fit, assemble, and fabricate components to specification
Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
Execute laser welding for specialized applications (training provided as needed)
Quality & System Contribution
Participate in QA/QC processes, inspections, and continuous improvement efforts
Identify and escalate issues that may impact flow or downstream work
Support a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
Contribute to maintaining consistent production quality and throughput
Team & Operational Support
Work collaboratively with fabrication, engineering, and operations nodes
Support shifting priorities based on project demands and system needs
Participate in internal training and development, particularly around new technologies
Qualifications
Journeyperson Welder certification or equivalent experience
CWB certification considered an asset
Experience with MIG/TIG welding in a fabrication or shop environment
Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and weld symbols
Strong attention to detail and workmanship

Position Details
Location: Streambank Facility – Sherwood Park, AB
Schedule: Monday to Friday (shop-based role)
Hours: 40 hours/week (with potential for additional hours based on workload)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Benefits: Available after 3 months
