Saunders and Welch is looking to hire a full time, experienced Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to join our team. Our culture is collaborative, hard working (yet fun) and puts focus towards our clients having a positive and professional experience with our firm.
As our Receptionist / Administrative Assistant, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, while also providing the essential support to our team to ensure smooth day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities;
- Client Relations: Greet clients, answer and direct incoming inquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Data Management: Maintain our client workflow to ensure the team stays on target for upcoming deadlines
- Tax Package Compilation: Prepare tax return signing packages with accuracy and efficiency, assist clients facilitate digital and in office signing, and submit filings to CRA.
- Professional Correspondence: Correspond with CRA on behalf of clients through a digital portal and by phone.
- Administrative Tasks: Invoice, process payments and basic A/R. Manage office supply inventory. Office openings and closings. Scanning, copying, filing and other general office maintenance.
Qualifications;
- Experience in professional office or customer service environment
- Confidence in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced office
- A stickler for detail and highly organized
- Can work independently with delegated tasks
- Communicates and presents themselves professionally
- Responsible, reliable and respectful
- Prior knowledge using QuickBooks, Profile Tax Software, DocuSign, Client Track and Microsoft Office would be an asset.
Additional Details;
Pay rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
This is an in-office position. The working hours are scheduled to cover our office hours.
Regular Hours (May – Feb): Monday - Thursday 9-5, Friday 9-12
Tax Season (March – April): Monday - Friday 9-5, April Saturdays 9-12
