Step into a pivotal position where you'll oversee production at our Bowmanville operation. You'll not only manage the team but also engage directly with them on the ground, driving day-to-day operations with hands-on leadership. Day in the life:
- The schedule runs from Monday to Friday, start times varying seasonally from April to August; currently, it’s 6:00am - 3:30pm
- 80% of this role requires working actively alongside team members in the production process
- 20% of the role entails handling administrative tasks such as payroll, inventory reporting, production planning, recruitment, and more.
- Consistently embody the company's culture and values in all leadership activities.
- Effectively maintain inventory levels and operational efficiencies on a daily basis
- Identify and address any irregularities or malfunctions.
- Comprehend, achieve, and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, quality, and health & safety

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a comparable leadership role
- Hands-on working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Experience leading a team of 10+ people
- Preventative and regular maintenance in a manufacturing environment or equivalent mechanical experience is considered an asset
- Strong leadership, organizational, time management, verbal/written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience operating a forklift or heavy equipment
- Able to perform physical work, lifting and moving 20-40LBS propane tanks daily
