We look for people who are team players The ideal candidate(s) is able to diagnose, troubleshoot, assemble, service, repair, and maintain heavy duty equipment. The successful applicant will earn a competitive hourly wage, dependent upon experience, and a comprehensive company benefits plan will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform inspections and diagnostics on heavy duty trucks, trailers, engines, transmissions, drivetrains, brakes, and hydraulic systems
· Conduct routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and safety inspections
· Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance performed
· Maintain tools and area of work in a clean organized fashion.
· Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
· Journeyperson Truck/Transport Mechanic, Level 3 or 4
· Ability to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with effective communication abilities
· Willingness to learn new skills, adapt to changing needs and take direction
· Possess a strong work ethic and be consistently punctual
· Ability to multi-task and oversee multiple concurrent work orders
· Ability to lift up-to 23 kg (50 lbs.)
· Must have a valid driver’s license
· Must be able to communicate in spoken and written English
