Job Posting: Painter – New Construction
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing all aspects of painting in new residential and commercial construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, prime, and finish surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Perform all tasks related to new construction painting, including sanding, caulking, and touch-ups
- Follow project schedules and ensure work is completed to a high standard of quality
- Maintain a clean and safe job site at all times
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and site managers
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in painting (new construction experience preferred)
- Must be fluent in English or French
- Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- WHMIS certification
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
