Key Responsibilities
Hose Production & Assembly
- Manufacturing: Cut, assemble, and pack industrial and hydraulic hoses and fittings according to customer specifications.
- Quality Control: Ensure all hose assemblies meet strict quality and safety standards prior to packing and shipping.
Warehouse & Logistics
- Equipment Operation: Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently, including forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers, to transport goods.
- Shipping & Receiving: Manage incoming and outgoing shipments by verifying documents, packaging goods securely, and collaborating with team members to load and unload trucks safely.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist with order picking, packing, and fulfillment to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, maintain accurate stock records through routine audits, and organize storage areas for optimal material placement.
Skills & Qualifications
- Equipment Proficiency: Proven experience operating warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and order pickers).
- Physical Capability: Ability to safely perform heavy lifting and active manual tasks while maintaining proper ergonomics.
- Logistics Experience: Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and packaging techniques within a manufacturing or distribution environment to ensure safe transportation and storage.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience or knowledge of industrial and hydraulic hoses is a strong plus (mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are highly valued).
- Work Ethic: Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow your expertise in warehouse distribution and industrial operations.
