Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and reliable Back of House Staff to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and back-of-house facilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and basic cooking tasks
- Support kitchen staff with food handling and safety procedures in compliance with health regulations
- Help with food plating and presentation as directed by chefs or supervisors
- Restock supplies and ensure all necessary ingredients and utensils are available for service
- Support serving staff during busy periods by managing side stations or assisting with guest needs when appropriate
- Ensure proper storage of food items and adherence to safety standards
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and waste disposal
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food handling, preparation, and safety protocols is a plus
- Experience with cleaning routines within a commercial kitchen or hospitality setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques or food service operations will be beneficial
