Parts Warehouse
We are seeking a motivated Parts Warehouse person to join our team in Winnipeg
Position Overview
Key Responsibilities

Responsible for accurately picking orders in a timely fashion for drivers or customers picking up at our location

Prepare bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records

Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

Follow Road Salespersons schedule and have parts orders picked and ready in a timely manner.

Assist with parts returns

Keep parts department and warehouse clean

Receive stock and put it away on shelves

Restock shelves when applicable

Deliver and pick-up parts when required
Compensation
- Base salary plus bonus (starts after 3 months)

Workdays are 8 hours per day Monday to Friday

Salary dependent upon qualifications/experience

Qualifications
-
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- Ability to use hand trucks and hand carts
- Use mechanical tools such as crimpers, pliers, wrenches, wire cutters etc

Ability to communicate well orally and in writing

Ability to work independently and with co-workers
Working Conditions
-
This is a physically demanding position
-
Will stand for the majority of shift
-
Will lift and transport parts weighing up to 70 pounds several times per day

Will be required to frequently climb stairs
-
Will be required to stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach

Will work on a video display terminal
-
May be exposed to the elements, noise, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials
