We are looking for a Relief Pharmacist to provide weekend coverage on an ongoing basis for a community pharmacy client in Edmonton, Alberta. This role is great for pharmacists who want to supplement their income with reliable weekend work while keeping flexibility in their schedule.
The assignment is available immediately and runs for 6 months, offering a range of shift options.

System: Kroll
Compensation: $60 per hour
Shift Times: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM (for pharmacists seeking additional hours)
Work Environment
- 100–150 scripts per day
- Community pharmacy setting
- Established workflow and support systems
- Consistent weekend coverage requirements
- Kroll-based pharmacy operation
Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately
- Provide patient counselling and clinical services as required
- Maintain compliance with provincial regulations and pharmacy standards
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
Qualifications
- Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in Alberta
- Comfortable working with Kroll
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable and professional approach to patient care
- Community pharmacy experience preferred
