Experienced Bookkeeper
MBC Logging Ltd. – Hinton, Alberta
MBC Logging Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team. We are seeking someone who understands the logging industry and can confidently manage day-to-day bookkeeping while supporting our growing operation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience using QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of the logging industry
- Knowledge of Alberta payroll rules and regulations for loggers
- Experience with Loggers Edge is considered a strong asset
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to support staff with safety documentation, compliance, and company safety regulations
Requirements
- Must reside in Hinton, Alberta, or the surrounding area, or be willing to relocate.
- Relocation expenses are not covered by MBC Logging Ltd.
- Must have reliable transportation, as occasional travel to the MBC shop, glass shop, and other local business locations may be required.
