Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of painting and labor tasks across residential, commercial, and projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Prior experience in construction painting, restoration, or related fields is highly valued.
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and taping as needed
- Apply paint, stain, or coatings to various surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of finishes
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Assist with rigging and scaffolding setup to access high or difficult-to-reach areas.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during work activities
Experience
- Prior experience in construction painting, commercial or industrial painting, or restoration projects is preferred
- Knowledge of construction techniques including rigging, carpentry, caulking, and handling hand tools and power tools
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Strong time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills for interacting professionally with clients when necessary
- Familiarity with residential painting processes is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work safely in a construction environment with good communication skills

Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 50 per week
