Journeyman Welder Fabricator – IMARK Architectural Metals
Join the team at IMARK Architectural Metals, where craftsmanship meets innovation. As a Welder Fabricator in our state-of-the-art fabrication facility, you’ll play a vital role in producing high-quality architectural metal components. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role that involves working with a range of non-ferrous metals, including stainless steel, aluminium, and copper.
Key Responsibilities:

Interpret blueprints and welding specifications accurately

Weld metal components using GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, and TIG welding processes

Operate shears, brakes, and other metal forming machinery

Perform manual or semi-automatic flame cutting

Straighten, bend, and polish metal to required specifications

Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with COR-certified safety standards

Qualifications:
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in metal fabrication

Extensive experience with non-ferrous metals (stainless steel, aluminium, copper)

Proficiency in TIG welding and polishing stainless steel

Strong understanding of light gauge steel and custom fabrication
-
Ability to lift 20 kg or more

Experience with shears, brakes, and other shop equipment
-
High school diploma (minimum); technical training preferred

Strong English communication skills (spoken and written)

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Must have your own welding helmet and CSA-approved steel-toe work boots
