Seeking a qualified Fashion Studies Grad for FT position
We are looking for a graduate of a Fashion Design and Merchandising program to fill a full time position (36 to 40 hours per week) Tuesday through Saturday; including regular work on Saturdays. This position will start at 3 days per week while training before transitioning to full-time. Fashion Design and Merchandising students are welcome to apply!
We are looking for strong Photoshop and digital photography skills. Pattern drafting skills are also an asset. We are seeking a dynamic employee to join our supportive, collegial team who can work in both the store and the studio, as well as online.
For the store, candidates require excellent customer service and communication skills, a positive and professional attitude, sales experience (in women's clothing preferred), and a flare for merchandising and display.
In the studio, candidates should be organized, detail-oriented and able to work independently. Assets include ability to draft a first pattern and to cut from an existing pattern, ability to receive stock, steam, iron and deal with inventory.
For online, candidates are expected to photograph and model garments, write enticing descriptions of clothing, prepare measurements, and upload all to our online store. You’ll also be expected to post on our Wordpress blog and Instagram page. Experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platform is a must.
The successful candidate is someone who loves textile, design, who appreciates craft and has a personal style of their own. This position is full-time. Must be able to work Saturdays. Our compensation is competitive, and we provide generous employee discounts. Resume and references are required.

We are located near the intersection of Christie Street & Dupont Street and cater to an established clientele of professional women with an appreciation for textile and design. We have a “brick & mortar” store and studio at this location as well as the online store. This is a high service environment: customer-focused communication is consistently required for both online and in-store sales. We manufacture, as well as carry private label lines and exclusive international labels.
