Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator Operator to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and graders to support various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, safety protocols, and construction site operations. The Excavator Operator will play a vital role in ensuring efficient project completion while maintaining high safety standards.
Duties
- Operate excavators and other heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, and graders with precision and safety.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as digging, trenching, grading, and material handling.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist with horizontal drilling, paving, and other specialized construction activities as needed.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment in a construction setting.
- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery operation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with dozer, loader, backhoe, grader operation, and horizontal drilling is preferred.
- Commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery or similar brands is advantageous.
- Prior involvement in paving or general construction projects is beneficial.
- Valid certifications or licenses for heavy equipment operation are highly desirable.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
