Purpose:
Reporting to the CIO Americas, the Senior Manager, IT Business Services is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and local business teams, ensuring the effective delivery of IT services, projects, and enhancements. Working closely with core regional technology teams it aims to understand and leverage regional standards, support technology roadmaps and maximize the value of IT to the business. This role involves leading a diverse team, managing budgets, prioritizing and executing IT projects, and maintaining high service levels. Additionally, the role oversees communication related to IT services, technology changes, and cybersecurity to ensure alignment with business needs and continuous improvement.
What you’ll do:
- Relationship Management: Manage the relationship between IT and local business teams, ensuring the delivery of IT services, projects, and enhancements.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 10-15 senior internal FTEs across various technology disciplines; inc. including business process/functional consultants, local IT service/ support staff, project managers and locally specific development resources.
- Budget Management: Prepare and deliver local IT Opex and Capex budgets.
- Project and Portfolio Management: Manage business demands for IT projects and solutions, prioritize effectively, and ensure execution of the IT project and enhancement portfolio.
- Supplier Management: Manage key local 3rd Party technology providers to support local IT technology, service and project-based requirements.
- Service Level Management: Define and agree on Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for key IT services, monitor and manage delivery to agreed SLAs, and measure end-user satisfaction.
- Communication Management: Manage communication across all aspects of IT, including service, technology changes, and cybersecurity, to the local business.

Required skills:
- Project Management: Ability to oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of IT systems, software, and hardware to support business operations. incl. ERP Platforms, Software Applications, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Proficiency in implementing robust security measures and responding to potential threats.
- Budget Management: Experience in planning and allocating resources efficiently to operate within financial means.
- Vendor Management: Skills in managing relationships with external vendors for software, hardware, and services.
- Problem-Solving: Aptitude for identifying issues and finding solutions quickly to minimize downtime.
- Communication: Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively with team members.
- Team Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and develop a diverse team of technology resources.
- Strategic Planning: Capability to align IT initiatives with the broader business strategy.
- Change Management: Proficiency in managing and implementing technology changes within the organization
Education:
- Required
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in IT Leadership/Management roles
- Experience in leading the implementation of complex ERP and large-scale business technology projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM related studies (or 15+ years equivalent professional experience)
- Nice To Have
- Professional IT certifications, e.g. ITIL, COBIT etc.
