Details:
- Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on hydraulic systems in all makes of heavy-duty trucks, trailers, buses, and petroleum tanks.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve mechanical problems.
- Assemble and install hydraulic systems in heavy-duty equipment.
- Accurately document all work performed and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with the equipment team to ensure timely completion of installations, repairs and meet customer expectations.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in truck & transport technology.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years hydraulic systems experience in the heavy-duty industry.
- Knowledge of welding and heavy equipment operations would be an asset.
- Demonstrated positive team-work attitude and respect for workplace safety.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract is required.
- Must be physically able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
