Dopamina Restaurant is a contemporary restaurant in the heart of downtown Toronto with a goal to provide its guests with upscale experience through its food, service, and ambience. Dopamina serves creative European cuisine with Asian influences. We are looking for goal-oriented and highly driven and skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team.
Summary
This role is great for a goal driven, dynamic, and passionate hospitality professional to join our team. We are looking for someone to be responsible for the day-to-day operations at for the FOH team as well as work hand-in-hand with the BOH management and head office management team to help execute the vision of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures
- Be familiar with menus, offering and suggestions for dietary restrictions
- Attend meetings and assisting in building the food and drinks menu
- Operating the point-of-sale system
- Develop SOP and keep track of food/bar bibles
- Reducing operational costs
- Increasing productivity
- Ensuring all staff follow strict personal safety, food safety and food storage guidelines
- Supervising and maintaining restaurant cleanliness to meet regulatory sanitation and hygiene standards
- Must have passion towards upscale hospitality service.
- Consistently display exceptional leadership and team spirit by providing a positive and engaging work environment, and demonstrating a dedicated and professional approach to serving guests.
- Manage restaurant inventory and ordering.
Experience:
- 3+ years previous experience in FOH service, especially in an upscale environment.
- 1+ year in restaurant managerial roles, preferably high-end setting
- Basic administration experience/knowledge, use of MS office, sending emails and bookkeeping
- Knowledge on mixology and alcohol
- Food Handlers and Smart Serve
- Strong problem solving and creative thinking skills.
- Customer service skills
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Experience:
- Restaurant: 3 years (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
