Rock Solid Refuge is a Christian residential ministry for teenage boys struggling with addictions, behavioural challenges, family breakdown, and other life-controlling issues. Located on a 60-acre farm in southwest Saskatchewan, our program helps young men experience transformation through Christ-centred mentorship, counselling, life-skills training, academics, work projects, and healthy community living.
We are currently seeking 3 Summer Interns to join our team for an 8-week paid internship experience.
This is more than a summer job.

About the Internship
Summer interns become part of the daily life of our ministry and assist with a wide variety of responsibilities across the property and program.
No two days are exactly the same.
Responsibilities may include:
- Yard work and property maintenance
- Gardening and outdoor projects
- Assisting with recreational activities and sports
- Helping supervise students alongside staff
- Driving and running errands
- General farm and ministry support
- Participating in community life and team activities
This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, hardworking, teachable, and excited to serve wherever needed.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for young adults who:
- Have a personal Christian faith
- Are positive, dependable, and willing to work hard
- Enjoy working with youth and being part of a team
- Are comfortable in a rural setting
- Have a servant-hearted attitude
- Are willing to step outside their comfort zone
- Want to spend their summer doing meaningful work
Previous ministry or youth experience is helpful but not required.
Internship Details
- 8-week summer position
- Approximately 35 hours per week
- Paid position
- Staff housing may be available
- Meals provided while on shift

- Located approximately 30 minutes from Shaunavon, Saskatchewan

Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence preferred
- Ability to work in Canada
- Ability to work in-person in southwest Saskatchewan
