Electronic Assembler / Production Manager

Elkor Technologies Inc. is a small, privately owned company based in London, Ontario, specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of electronic devices for energy management and control systems.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing team as an Electronic Assembler. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) involving a variety of hands-on tasks related to electronic manufacturing, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting.
This position offers significant room for advancement. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, grow with the company, and eventually take on increasing responsibilities, including leadership and management opportunities within the production team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and test electronic components and devices
- Calibrate and troubleshoot electronic systems
- Assist with inventory tracking and production preparation activities
- Maintain accurate production notes and reports
- Support continuous improvement of manufacturing and testing processes
Education & Training
- High school diploma required
- Additional college, CEGEP, vocational, or technical training is considered an asset
- No specific certifications required, comprehensive training will be provided by Elkor Technologies
Language Proficiency
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Able to write short reports and maintain clear production documentation
Skills & Qualifications
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
- Basic understanding of electrical/electronic circuits, tools, and equipment
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Familiarity with hand tools such as soldering equipment, drills, and heat guns
- Experience with small electronic device assembly, including THD and SMD soldering, is considered an asset
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and general PC-based tools
- Basic coding or scripting skills would be considered a strong asset
