Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing codes, safety standards, and technical skills to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. The Plumber will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to complete projects on time and within specifications.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in various settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely and effectively
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues to identify root causes and implement appropriate solutions
- Collaborate with construction teams on site to ensure plumbing work integrates seamlessly with other building systems such as HVAC and carpentry
- Perform routine inspections to detect leaks or potential problems before they escalate
- Adhere to all safety protocols and building codes during installation and repair activities
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed for project records
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of plumbing systems and components
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and schematics related to construction projects
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques
- Knowledge of carpentry, HVAC systems, and general construction practices is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations
- Familiarity with commercial driving for transporting materials or equipment when necessary
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments requiring heavy lifting and prolonged standing
