Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair and maintain a wide variety of vehicles
- Complete inspections, scheduled maintenance and warranty repairs
- Identify mechanical and electrical concerns using modern diagnostic equipment
- Clearly document inspection results, repairs and recommendations
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and other team members
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Follow manufacturer procedures and dealership safety policies
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
Qualifications
- Valid Automotive Service Technician licence
- Red Seal certification is an asset
- Previous automotive dealership or repair-shop experience
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of modern vehicle systems and diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver’s licence with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
