Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive issues using mechanical expertise and schematics
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and working with heavy vehicle components
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used
- Assist in vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and technology
- Ensure all work complies with dealership standards and safety regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance needs clearly
Experience
- Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive systems
- Dealership experience is preferred but not required
- Hands-on experience with welding, schematics reading, and assembly processes
- Familiarity with automotive repair tools including hand tools and power tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills
Pay: $20.00-$46.27 per hour
