Position Overview
We are seeking respectful and reliable individuals to serve as pallbearers. This is a casual, on-call position assisting with carrying caskets during funeral services, and graveside services. Shifts are scheduled in advance, typically a few days to a week ahead of time.
This role requires compassion, professionalism, and the ability to support grieving families with dignity.
Responsibilities
· Carry and transport caskets with a team during services.
· Present professionally at all times
· Follow direction from funeral directors and staff.
Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry weight safely with a team.
· Professional appearance and demeanor.
· Must have a black suit and polishable black dress shoes.
· Reliable, punctual, and respectful.
· Previous experience is an asset but not required.
Compensation
· $75 per service.
· Casual/on-call basis (with advance scheduling).
