Kiyoko Beauty is an online Asian Beauty shop based in Richmond Hill, ON. Our mission is to make Asian Beauty for everyone, and we’ve experienced tremendous growth over the past 3 years.
Our Marketing team is core to Kiyoko’s growth, where we boast almost 110K followers in TikTok, almost 10K followers on Instagram, and ~2.8K subscribers on Youtube. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant to support the VP of Marketing in coordination of Instagram, our influencer program, SEO, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP of Marketing in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and campaigns (Beauty and Cosmetics industry)
- Manage organic Instagram channel and TikTok channel, including creation of daily Instagram stories and social media posts
- Create and manage digital marketing campaigns, including Google Ads and social media advertising
- Manage the company’s influencer outreach program, coordinate PR gifts with influencers and be point of contact for community outreach
- Create engaging visual content for marketing materials using tools like Canva or Photoshop
- Assist in writing and editing content for marketing materials, such as announcements and email campaigns
- Conduct market research and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities based on competitor movement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools, especially social media (Instagram, TikTok, Youtube)
- Excellent research skills to gather market data and analyze trends
- Basic graphic design skills to create visually appealing marketing materials on Canva
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment, virtual and in-person
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Google Ads or Meta Ad Manager an asset
- Experience in SEO/SEM management an asset
This is a hybrid-role, expected to be done virtually and in-person. This is also a role that demands flexible hours (e.g. being available on weekends as needed and weekday evenings).

Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
