We're looking for a friendly and detail-oriented Hotel Guest Service Agent to join our team. In this role, you will be a key player in ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for guests across 18 of our remote-managed hotels and motels in Canada and the USA. This position is based in our head office in Osborne Village, where you will work closely with our Operations Manager.
What You'll Do:
- Be the main point of contact for guests while on shift, handling reservations, check-ins, and check-outs.
- Resolve guest inquiries and issues quickly and professionally.
- Answer phone calls and provide helpful information about our properties.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth daily operations.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the management of our remote locations.
- Report to the office, morning shifts are 8:00am-4:00pm, evenings run 4:00pm-Midnight.
What You'll Bring:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a guest service or front desk role.
- Exceptional communication, computer and people skills. You enjoy helping others and can build a positive rapport with guests.
- The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to use email, chat, video conferencing and several hospitality software programs.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Starting wage of $20.00/hour, increasing to $21.00/hour after a successful 90-day probationary period.
- Comprehensive benefits after 90 days of employment.
