Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves hands-on tasks that contribute to the beautification and upkeep of various landscapes, ensuring they remain healthy and visually appealing.
Duties
- Build and maintain landscape features, including flower beds, pathways, and decorative elements.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Use power tools and hand tools for various landscaping tasks, including digging, planting, trimming, and pruning.
- Perform regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, weeding, mulching, and fertilizing.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in landscaping tasks.
- Ability to dig, plant, and maintain gardens with attention to detail.
- A passion for working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering quality results.
- Ability to drive a truck and trailer.
- Class 5 license
